The Facts

Following 16 years of a BC Liberal government, workers have been left behind. BC's minimum wage leaves workers in poverty. Seriously - it is time for the government to give British Columbians a real raise.

The picture of a low-wage worker in BC isn't what you might expect. There are nearly half a million workers earning less than $15 per hour. Eighty-one per cent are 20 or older. Three in five are women.  And 69% work for companies with more than 20 employees.
